Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved with the Region A Partnership for Children:

County Team Membership: In each county and on the Qualla Boundary a Smart Start team is responsible for identifying ways in which the Partnership can ensure school readiness for all children. Smart Start teams engage in ongoing local planning to ensure that Smart Start activities are serving the needs and concerns of families with young children. Membership on the teams varies among counties; however, any agency or community representative that has an interest in young children and families is encouraged by the Partnership to participate at the local level.
